Er. P. Yugananth is now working as Assistant Divisional Engineerin Highways Department, Government of Tamilnadu. He obtained his Bachelor'sdegree in 'Civil Engineering' and Master's degree in 'EnvironmentalEngineering' from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in First Class withDistinction. In addition to his experience in teaching, he has about 18 yearsof experience in planning, designing and construction of various kinds ofroads, bridges and highway structures. He has published many papers in National& International Journals. His areas of interest are Engineering Mechanics,Strength of Materials, Environmental Science and Engineering.
Dr. R. Kumaravelan is a Professor and Head of theDepartment of Mechanical Engineering, Velalar College of Engineering andTechnology, Erode. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in 'MechanicalEngineering' and Master's degree in 'Engineering Design' from BharathiarUniversity, Coimbatore. He was the Gold Medalist in his PG studies. Hecompleted his Doctoral degree from Anna University, Chennai in the area ofmechanics of Composite materials. He has about 20 years of experience inteaching and research. He has published 10 papers in International Journals andpresented more than 50 papers in National & International Conferences. Hissubjects of interest are Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, MachineDesign, and Finite Element Analysis.
