Dr. AngsumanSarkar is presently serving as an AssistantProfessor of Electronics and Communication Engineering in Kalyani GovernmentEngineering College, West Bengal for the past 3 years. He has earlier servedJalpaiguri Government Engineering College, West Bengal as a Lecturer of ECE for10 years. He received the M.Tech degree in VLSI & Microelectronics fromJadavpur University.  Later he wasawarded the Ph.D degree from Jadavpur Unviersity. His current research interestspan around study of short channel effects of sub 100nm MOSFETs and nano devicemodelling. He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE)and Institution of Engineers (India) and member of IEEE-Electron DevicesSociety. He has authored and reviewed number of research papers in national andinternational refereed journals and conferences.

Dr. Swapnadip De graduatedin Radio Physics and Electronics from the University College of Science andTechnology, University of Calcutta. He obtained his M.Tech degree in VLSI &Microelectronics from Jadavpur University. Later he was awarded Ph.D. degreefrom Jadavpur University. He is presently working in Maghnad Saha Institute ofTechnology as Assistant Professor in the Electronics and CommunicationsEngineering department for the past 11 years. He also worked in Andrew Yule andCompany Ltd in the Research and Development department. He has presented andpublished a number of Conferences and Journal papers. His main areas ofresearch interest include study of characteristic parameter modelling of shortchannel MOSFETs. He is an editorial board member of Inderscience Publishers,UK. He is the official reviewer of many reputed International Journals.

Dr. ChandanKumar Sarkar is presently serving as Professor inElectronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department, Jadavpur University,Kolkata. He obtained his M.Sc. degree in Physics from Aligarh Muslim University,Aligarh. He was awarded the Ph.D. degree from Calcutta University in 1979. Hewas awarded the D.Phil, degree from Oxford University, Oxford, U.K in 1984. Hewas a Research Fellow of the Royal Commission for the exhibition of 1851 at theClarendon Laboratory, Oxford University, from 1983 to 1985. In 1980, hereceived the British Royal Commission Fellowship to work in Oxford University.He worked as a Visiting Scientist in Max Planck Laboratory, Stuttgart, Germanyas well as in Linko Pink University, Swedan. He also taught in the Dept. ofPhysics at Oxford University, a distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE EDS., Chairof the IEEE EDS Chapter, Calcutta Section, India. He joined Jadavpur University,Kolkata, India in 1987 as a Reader in Electronics and TelecommunicationEngineering (ETCE) and became Professor and Head at the Physics Department ofthe Bengal Engineering College, Howrah, (deemed university) in 1996. Since 1999he has been a Professor of the ETCE Department, Jadavpur University. He served asVisiting Professor in many universities and has published around 200 papers inrefereed journals.
