Tab Article R.Jayashri graduated in Electrical and ElectronicsEngineering in 1987 from Government College of Engineering, Salem. She stoodfirst in University of Madras and secured a gold medal. She served in TNEB as Assistant Engineer for ayear and then took up teaching as her career. She obtained her M.E in PowerSystems from College of Engineering, Guindy in 1992. She has the opportunity toserve as research scholar in Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australiafor Five and half years where she also completed her M.Eng (by research) inPower System Stability and Deregulation. She is in teaching profession for thepast 14 years. She is at present doing her Ph.D as part time in College ofEngineering, Guindy, in the department of Power System Engineering. She is amember of Indian Society for Technical Education. Her areas of interest includePower System, Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks.
