Dr. N. Selvakumar is working as Senior Professor,Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mepco Schlenk Engineering College,Sivakasi. He has completed his post graduation from PSG College of Technology,Coimbatore, under the specialization Industrial Metallurgy. He has completedhis Ph.D. in the area of Powder Metallurgy from Manonmaniam SundaranarUniversity, Tirunelveli. He is having rich teaching and industrial experiencein Engineering Colleges and PSG Industrial Institute, Coimbatore. He haspublished more than 90 papers in reputed Journals, both International andNational level. The author has also presented/attended many International andNational Conferences. He is a recognized research supervisor for Anna Universityand so far 7 scholars have completed their Ph.D. under his guidance and 8 moreare pursuing. He has developed the Centre for Nano Science and Technology atMepco Schlenk Engineering College. He has also gained a lot of expertise inthe field of Nanotechnology. He is also a Principal investigator for asponsored research project funded by ISRO, AICTE & DRDO.
