Sri J. Raja obtained his B.E (EEE) and M.E (PowerSystem) degree from Annamalai University. Raja has 13 years of experience as aPower Industry professional. He started his career with private engineeringcollege as an Assistant Professor at Puducherry and worked for about 8 years.Thereafter, he joined National Power Training Institute (NPIT), under Ministryof Power, Govt. of India in 2010 and is presently working as Assistant Directorat NPTI (CO) at Faridabad, Haryana. He has organized a number of short-termprograms and is an active faculty in various training programs related to PowerGeneration Industry. Shri J. Raja has also prepared manuals on "BestPractices in Distribution Operation & Management" and "DisasterManagement, Electrical Safety Procedures and Accident Prevention", UnderR-APDRP program in the XI Five Year Plan.
Dr. C. Christober Asir Rajan, has finished his B.E.degree in First Class with Distinction in Electrical & ElectronicsEngineering at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi in the year 1991 andhis M.E. degree in First Class with Distinction in Power System Engineering atThiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai in the 1995. He was an II rankholder in both B.E. and M.E. He has also finished D.I.S. degree in First Classwith Distinction at Annamalai University, Chidambaram in the year 1992. He hascompleted his Ph.D. degree in Power System Optimization at College ofEngineering, Guindy, in the year 2004. He is having totally 19 years of teachingexperience in various reputed institutions. Presently, he is working asAssociate Professor in the Department of Electrical & ElectronicsEngineering, Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry. He has published 156research papers in various National & International Conferences and 81research papers in various International & National Journals. He hasproduced 7 Doctoral scholars. He is presently guiding 3 research scholars. Heacquired member in Institution of Engineers, INDIA, Member in Society ofTechnical Education, INDIA. His area of interest is the optimization of PowerSystem Operation, Planning & Control through soft computingtechniques.
