Dr. S. Sivaprakasam is a Reader in Mechanical Engineering atAnnamalai University, Tamilnadu. He received his B.E. Degree in MechanicalEngineering and Masters Degree in Thermal Power Engineering from AnnamalaiUniversity. He then started his teaching career at his alma mater, with specialinterest in Emission Controls in Diesel Engines along with subjects likeAlternative Fuels and Machine design. He received his Ph.D. in 2006.
He has published around 25 papers in both International andNational Journal on the subject of alternative fuels with emphasis onBiodiesel. He is a Member of ISTE, SAE, The combustion Institute and ENFUSE.
N. Karunakaran is Lecturer (Selection Grade) inMechanical Engineering at Annamalai University, Tamilnadu. He received his B.E.(Mechanical Engineering) from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore, M.B.A., fromMadurai Kamaraj University. Started his career as a Lighting Engineer inPhilips India Limited. After a stint of 7 years at the corporate he took upteaching as a career at Annamalai University. Subsequently obtaining theMasters Degree in Thermal Power Engineering. Currently pursuing Ph.D. in thearea of weld Modeling.
